In the middle of the world, Ecuador, a man was born who would make history in art: Arturo Pastor, a talented and passionate artist.
At the age of 12, in Quito, with a paper sign that read ‘Drawings for students,’ Arturo began bringing his dreams to life. His passion for art was undeniable, and he became the most sought-after portraitist in the city.
His talent did not go unnoticed. Soon, Arturo found himself portraying public figures and influential leaders in Ecuador. His ability to capture the essence of his subjects was astounding, and his reputation as an artist spread throughout the country.
Arturo did not stop there. His vision led him to explore new horizons. He traveled across Latin America, portraying dignitaries and public figures in Panama, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, and Chile.
It was in New York, however, where Arturo found his place. For over 30 years, he has called the city that never sleeps his home, building an artistic career that transcends borders.
His collaboration with Jeff Koons, one of the world’s most renowned artists, has been a standout experience in his career. For 12 years, Arturo worked alongside Koons, refining techniques that helped him craft his unique style.
Additionally, Arturo has continued learning and growing as an artist. He earned a Master’s in Art in Spain and participated in various workshops with renowned Spanish artists.
